When "small removalist" actually means "small"
A lot of removalists price small moves as if they were full house moves, which is why customers with a studio or a few pieces often overpay. Our pricing structure has a 2T van (from $160/hr) and 4T truck (from $180/hr) sized specifically for studios and single-item pickups, and no small-load surcharge — same base rate as bigger jobs.
2-hour minimum applies, then billed by the minute. So a studio move that takes 2 hrs 15 min costs exactly 2.25 hours' worth of labour, not a rounded-up 3.
Good fits for the small-moves service
- Studios and one-bedroom units, apartments, granny flats
- Room-only moves — student moves, sharehouse changes
- Single-item pickups — one couch, one fridge, one wardrobe
- Marketplace or Gumtree pickups where you need reliable transport
