Small moving boxes for the heavy things — books, kitchenware, magazines. Big moving boxes for the bulky-but-light — clothes, linen, quilts and quiet corners of the wardrobe you have not opened in six months.
Packing paper for wrapping fragiles (skip the newspaper — the ink transfers). Packing tape for sealing every box securely. Permanent markers so you know which box goes in which room at the other end.
And three pre-packed bundles by home size. Small for a 1-2 bedroom, medium for 2-3, large for 3-4. Every bundle includes boxes plus the tape, paper and markers you actually need — the "how many rolls of tape do I actually need" question, solved.
All ex-depot pickup from Cheltenham VIC. No home delivery yet, but the depot is minutes from the station and has street parking.
How to choose
Right supplies for the right move
Getting the materials right up-front means fewer trips back to the shop and a smoother packing week.
For a 1-2 bedroom
The Small Boxes Bundle covers you — 10 small boxes, 5 big boxes, tape and marker. Enough for kitchen, wardrobe, bathroom and one living room without over-buying.
For a 2-3 bedroom
The Medium Bundle scales it up — 15 small, 10 big, extra tape. Adds a second bedroom's worth of packing and the extra tape for the additional boxes.
For a 3-4 bedroom home
The Large Bundle is the full-house pack — 20 small, 15 big, three rolls of tape. Handles a family home comfortably, including the garage and shed odds and ends.
For fragiles specifically
Packing paper (2.5kg roll ≈ 250 sheets) wraps everything from wine glasses to picture frames. Top up individual items alongside a bundle for kitchens with a lot of glassware or heirlooms.
Pickup from our Cheltenham depot is the current option — no home delivery for standalone materials. If you are booking a move with us, we can bring the supplies on the truck at no extra cost.
How many boxes will I actually need?
The bundles are sized to household size — Small for 1-2 bedroom, Medium for 2-3, Large for 3-4. If you have unusually book-heavy shelves, kitchen glassware, or a garage full of tools, add individual small boxes on top. Most people run out of small boxes before big ones.
Are the boxes new?
Yes — all boxes sold are new, double-walled corrugated cardboard rated for house moves. We do not resell used boxes.
What if I only need packing paper or tape?
Buy the individual items. Packing paper (2.5kg roll), packing tape and permanent markers are all sold on their own for people topping up a bundle or handling their own materials.
Can I return unused materials after my move?
Sealed boxes can be returned within 14 days for a refund minus a small handling fee. Opened boxes, tape and paper are non-returnable.
Do you have wardrobe boxes with hanging rails?
Wardrobe boxes are available as part of a booked move (the crew brings them in and out on the day). We do not currently sell wardrobe boxes as standalone items — they are bulky and pickup is impractical.
Are you AFRA accredited?
Yes. Easy Peasy Removals is accredited by the Australian Furniture Removers Association — the industry's professional standard. AFRA members are audited on training, equipment, insurance and practice. You can verify our membership at afra.com.au.
What insurance is included?
Every move includes public liability and goods-in-transit insurance covering damage or loss during transport. For items of exceptional value we can arrange additional coverage — mention them when you enquire.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?
Yes. Quality moving boxes, tape, bubble wrap and protective materials delivered before your move. You can also add a full packing service so our team does the wrapping and boxing.
Do you move oversized or specialist items?
We move pool tables, home gyms, oversized furniture, garage workshops and most heavy household items. For concert-grade pianos, fine art or wine collections, tell us at enquiry so we can recommend the right transport method.
