Fifteen minutes down Warrigal Road from our Oakleigh warehouse to your door. 4.9★ across 1,190+ reviews, AFRA accredited, and one of the fastest response times in the south-east.
Every removalist quote you get is a combination of two things — the crew's time on-site with your furniture, and the truck's travel time to and from wherever it started that morning. If the truck started 45 minutes across town, that travel time is in your quote whether or not you can see it.
For Oakleigh moves, our trucks start 15 minutes away — Chesterville Road down to Warrigal, straight through Huntingdale. You are not funding a cross-town commute before we start work at your address.
That matters most on smaller moves. On a 2-bedroom flat where the loading and unloading is three or four hours total, half an hour of extra travel time each way is a 20% surcharge you never had to pay.
We are also close enough for genuine same-day availability. If your settlement moves forward two days and you are scrambling for a crew, an Oakleigh call at 9am often has a truck at your door before lunch.
Rated 4.9★ across 1,190+ Google reviews — but reviews are the outcome, not the process. This is what actually gets us the reviews.
The most common review complaint about removalists in Melbourne is arrival window drift — a "morning" job turning up at 1pm. We book fixed start times, not windows, and if a job runs long the next customer gets a call before we are late.
Every crew member is trained to AFRA (Australian Furniture Removers Association) standards — not just experienced, but audited. Certificate of Currency on file, transit insurance in place, and equipment properly maintained.
A 12T truck on a job that needed a 6T is a truck you paid for that you did not need. We size to the actual move, not the biggest option. The Instant Quote calculator sorts this at booking, not on the day.
Rates published on our pricing page. No fuel levy on the day, no stair-fee on the day, no "we needed the bigger truck" surcharge. If we get a quote wrong, we eat it — you pay the quoted price.
Because there are dozens of Melbourne removalists but only a handful with a warehouse depot in the south-east that gives you a 15-minute response time to Oakleigh. Search engine rankings on "top removalists" alone are gamed constantly — a local depot is a real, verifiable difference.
A typical Oakleigh 3-bedroom takes 4-6 hours at 4T/$180/hr rates — around $750-$1,100 including a drop to a nearby SE suburb. Two-bedroom apartments run 3-4 hours. Both are fully quoted in advance through the Instant Quote calculator.
Yes — Oakleigh has grown a lot of new apartment stock over the last decade, particularly around Warrigal Road and near Oakleigh Station. Service-lift bookings and Certificate of Currency paperwork are handled ahead of the day.
Often, yes — depending on the day. If you call before 9am for a small move (1-2 bedroom or single-item), we can usually get a crew out that afternoon. Larger moves need at least 24 hours notice.
Yes. Public liability and goods-in-transit insurance are standard on every move. Certificate of Currency is provided free on request for building managers.
Our 1,190+ Google reviews are aggregated across all suburbs — filter by "Oakleigh" in the review text to see specific Oakleigh feedback. The star average is 4.9 overall and we do not cherry-pick which suburbs it displays for.
Yes. Easy Peasy Removals is accredited by the Australian Furniture Removers Association — the industry's professional standard. AFRA members are audited on training, equipment, insurance and practice. You can verify our membership at afra.com.au.
Every move includes public liability and goods-in-transit insurance covering damage or loss during transport. For items of exceptional value we can arrange additional coverage — mention them when you enquire.
Yes. Quality moving boxes, tape, bubble wrap and protective materials delivered before your move. You can also add a full packing service so our team does the wrapping and boxing.
We move pool tables, home gyms, oversized furniture, garage workshops and most heavy household items. For concert-grade pianos, fine art or wine collections, tell us at enquiry so we can recommend the right transport method.

JP and Chris were very friendly, polite, respectful of our house and did an amazing job. I don’t know how they fit everything into one truck in one go! We’d 100% recommend them. Thanks guys :)
