The service

The tower move, done properly

Apartment moves are their own thing — narrow lifts, strict service-lift booking windows, Certificate of Currency requirements, loading dock allocations, tight parking. Most removalists treat apartments as house moves that happened to be on floor 40. We don't.

We book the service lift in advance, submit the Certificate of Currency to the building manager, and arrive with equipment that fits the lift and blankets that protect the walls. That saves you hours of overtime billing.

  • Service-lift booking coordinated with the building
  • Certificate of Currency submitted in advance
  • Trolleys and lift-sized equipment
  • Padding for lift walls and corridor corners

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle service lift bookings?

Yes. Once you book, tell us the building and we contact the building manager, book the service lift for the delivery window, and submit any paperwork they need including the Certificate of Currency.

What about weekend and after-hours moves?

Yes — most CBD buildings restrict weekday move-in windows, so weekends are common for apartment moves. Weekend loading fees at the building are yours (they're charged by the body corporate, not us); the removal rate is the same.

Can you get through narrow doorways?

Almost always. We measure at quote stage and tell you at booking if a piece is going to be tight — sometimes a wardrobe or a couch needs to come apart and back together at the other end. That's standard, not extra.

What if my building doesn't have a service lift?

Then we use the passenger lift and pad it. Older buildings without a service lift take longer to move into, but we plan for it — no surprise on the day.

Are you AFRA accredited?

Yes. Easy Peasy Removals is accredited by the Australian Furniture Removers Association — the industry's professional standard. AFRA members are audited on training, equipment, insurance and practice. You can verify our membership at afra.com.au.

What insurance is included?

Every move includes public liability and goods-in-transit insurance covering damage or loss during transport. For items of exceptional value we can arrange additional coverage — mention them when you enquire.

Do you provide boxes and packing materials?

Yes. Quality moving boxes, tape, bubble wrap and protective materials delivered before your move. You can also add a full packing service so our team does the wrapping and boxing.

Do you move oversized or specialist items?

We move pool tables, home gyms, oversized furniture, garage workshops and most heavy household items. For concert-grade pianos, fine art or wine collections, tell us at enquiry so we can recommend the right transport method.
